The location was great, just a short drive to the beach and the white cliffs. I loved having a terrace and free private parking. Very convenient for my stay.
Oh, the nearest airport was only London City Airport, what a shame. I was hoping for more options.

Loved the short walk through fields and country lanes to the beach, and the well-stocked games cupboard for indoor and outdoor activities. Accessibility and dog-friendly policy were great too. Welcome pack was top-notch!
Oh, I just adored those potholes on the country lane, they added so much charm to the drive! ?

Loved the convenience of free parking and the terraces. Felt like a jetsetter with London City Airport so close. The cherry on top? Just a quick drive to the beach and beautiful white cliffs.
Oh, and how could I forget? The "nearest" airport is actually in Southend.

The villa is fitted with 3 cozy bedrooms, perfect for a comfortable stay. The flat-screen TV in the villa is great for relaxing and enjoying some entertainment. The fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, fridge, washing machine, and oven makes it easy to prepare meals. The 2 bathrooms with showers are convenient for a group stay.
Personally, I found one less enjoyable feature was the small kitchen size.

Appledown exceeded our expectations in every way! The photos simply do not do justice to the breathtaking beauty of the landscape and the tasteful coziness of the furnishings. Jo, our amazing host, went above and beyond, providing thoughtful touches like milk, coffee. The spacious and clean bungalow had everything we needed, from comfy beds and a luxurious bathroom with a big bath and walk-in shower, to a well-equipped kitchen with an electric kettle. The large front room with a log burner and a large TV was the perfect place to relax, and the huge back garden with a deck, patio table, and chairs was ideal for outdoor dining and enjoying stunning sunsets. The location was incredibly peaceful and secluded, and the dog-friendly garden was a hit with our furry friend. Jo from Goodwin Lets went out of her way to ensure our stay was perfect. We can't wait to come back to this mind-blowingly awesome retreat!

The property is in a secluded location, surrounded by beautiful countryside. I loved the 20-minute walk to the beach, passing through fields, country lanes, and charming cottages. The bungalow had a fantastic garden, perfect for outdoor activities, and there was a great selection of books and DVDs for indoor entertainment. The accessibility of the bungalow was a plus, especially for my elderly relative, and the fact that it was dog-friendly was an added bonus. The welcome pack was top-notch, making us feel truly welcomed.
There were a few minor issues during my stay, such as a broken heated mirror in the bathroom, bed slats coming out in one of the bedrooms, and a broken dining chair and hoover. However, these were small inconveniences that I'm sure can be easily fixed.
